handcrafts…

Inspired by the fact that i have just translated a lengthy tome form Italian artisans into English (for a little bread and butter money) i give you the edinburgh artisan…one of them is a little wooden.

Now written Italian is a baroque and frou-frou language at the best of times (extra points for finally getting to the relevant verb at the end of six lines of unbroken prose…) but when you get those artisans talking….and as one of them said, their working hours are actually incalculable because a good artisan not only lives his work abut also sleeps and dreams about it…
