photoshop muggu

So i have been running after school photoshop classes for 5 years now. I decided  to get the kids to make digital versions of traditional Rangoli (or “muggu” in the local Telugu language) which are normally drawn in chalk powder on the thresholds of Hindu households. Anyway, the symmetry and limitless possibilities for design variations make them an excellent challenge, here are some examples:
