voiceless and more lessons…

I HAVE LOST MY VOICE……COMPLETELY!!! MADE CLASSES A BIT  OF A CHALLENGE TODAY, BUT STUDENTS WERE VERY NICE AND PAID ATTENTION TO MY CROAKY WHISPER, THEY DID REALLY GOOD WORK TODAY.

Another revelation: Discovered at school today that the art teacher here has kind of been hogging the camera!!! I usually split the photography group in 2 (we have 2 cameras) and after a short lesson and brief, i send them out on their own to take pics. Turns out the teacher who always follows one of the groups (i leave mine to get on with it) has been taking most of the photos. I actually had to ask her to let the students have a go and had to get them to take more photos. On the other hand its kind of lovely that she is so keen, i think she has concentrated mostly on painting and arts and crafts so the whole photography thing is new to her too. Anyway now i know…regardless, today’s class on composition went really well, here are some of their photos (age 12-15)

Yesterdays’s lesson was about portraiture, and this rather brilliant portrait was also taken by a pupil.
